i bought around the end of November a new phone that phone battery should have a capacity of 5Ah but now, after a bit more than 1 month of heavy use the battery reports a capacity of 4651mAh, that equals a 7,5% loss! can that be true or is it just displaying a wrong value?

dietherdave

was it 5000mAh by the time of purchase?

and this is why better phones allow you to limit charging not to 100% but for example 85%

so that you do not overcharge your battery and extend its life.

shouldnt that be a software feature? cheap phones could support that aswell
