Raspberry Pi 3b+ LED broken

I found a raspberry pi (3b+)lying around in the house without a proper psu(this is my first time using a pi) I stuck raspbian onto a sd card and put it in the pi and it booted up and i did the setup. I powered it off because I had to go. Later that day when I tried to power it on again it refused to turn on the green light. I thought it might be polyfuse and left it for 48 hours before trying again with a phone charger and now no matter what the green light doesnt come on. help?!
unplug SD card. doers it come on when you powerup ??
yeah red light still comes on and doesnt flicker
i mean green.
unplug everything from pi, including SD card.
then power up
unplugged everything then plugged in the phone charger and i get a red light
stable red light

unplug power, plug in SD card, power up
just red light
can you verify integritty of SD card, ie is it fully readable, can you backup current one & reflash fresh system, etc

yeah, but that card could be damaged.
if you try to reinstall it, it might reveal it.

it could be your card reader, but considering this card refused to boot....
checked the sd card its fine
plug both in the sd card has raspberry pi OS imaged directly from the imager that worked the first time
still doesnt work
