Boot nvme from usb3

I'm trying to boot my Home Assistant from usb 3 but it only works on usb 2, i've googled and tried: usb-storage.quirks=152d:0578:u any ideas?

and is your USB device in lsusb 152d:0578 ?

lsusb shows: Bus 002 Device 002: ID 152d:0562 JMicron Technology Corp. / JMicron USA Technology Corp. JMS567 SATA 6Gb/s bridge Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub

then modify that quirk to match your ID
