Live weather balloon tracking using a raspberry pi and a phone

I'm planning on getting latitude, longitude and altitude of a weather balloon I plan on tracking with a pi 3. Is there any way where I can feed the data into a live map to track it? I also want to wireless display the data on my phone so if you guys know how to do that the help would be appreciated.

So the pi will be on the weather balloon correct? Probably a 3G SIM card would do it, and guessing you’ll need a gps module too. There are a ton of options for plotting on maps.

I've ditched the idea of using a phone to view the info, I need this project done quick so I'll just use my laptop and the raspberry pi 3 for the groundstation
