So I'm having following problem: I created a Nukkit Minecraft Server with instructions from the internet. Now I can't connect to it even though the server is running. The only thing I changed compared to the instructions is the port, I'm running it on Port 9090 Could it be a firewall problem? Because the error I'm getting says "Connection refused" This is the website I used: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/setup-minecraft-server-raspberry-pi/

minecraft server is literally a one-liner

axolotl_a_17

ive pretty much done everything and wanted to connect to it but it didnt work

jannik44

are you trying to access it over public internet or localnet?

axolotl_a_17

local, im using the local ip-address of the raspi

jannik44

hmm weird, looks like its the fault of that "nukkit", i recommend to do it the proper way

jannik44

what pi do you have?

axolotl_a_17

3b

jannik44

not the best

axolotl_a_17

yeah, im thinking about getting a 4 model, especially for such things

jannik44

good

jannik44

and you use a sd card as storage?

axolotl_a_17

yeah, 16GB

axolotl_a_17

okay wow... then i guess ill get a pi4 first before i continue

jannik44

yes, definetely

jannik44

and even the cheapest hdd will be better than a sd card so get that too

axolotl_a_17

by the way, a bit out of topic but im really struggling with getting my hands on a raspi 4, is that normal? like they are sold out everywhere in switzerland

axolotl_a_17

oh okay, i thought it was just a problem here in switzerland

jannik44

it might be even cheaper to get desktop parts depending on your budget

axolotl_a_17

yeah maybe, ill check. thank you for your help

jannik44

sure
