Like the heat goes up, and where to arrange everything for the most efficient cooling, and the amount of thermal paste (you don't need a lot, just 1 dot and you're good)
Btw, read about Nvidia's Linux drivers support stuff, it's important when looking up graphics card

8gb might be great to play Fortnite with an external GPU

Im thinking of adding some sort of smart home system in it
I would recommend anything other than NOOBS, and having control via a mobile with AVNC (the app) is good
You can make it so the Pi starts a hostapd so the phone connects to it, or make it so the Pi connects to the phone via its hotspot or something, then you can simply just power it and everything will power on automatically, it's really great to have such control without anything other than the usual stuff
Raspian is nice for beginners, and anything else which is not officially supported is great but needs sometime, so it's better to just start with Raspian and get Windows emulator to start Fortnite, if it doesn't support Linux yet

You lack a stack of old laptops next to you
And ngl your wire management is much nicer than mine, I've many ethernet cables below me that connects to various machines, including the Pi
I might get the i7 dell mini optiplex to test it out

Welp, it's not an issue if it's not a Threadripper and it has enough cooling to not be a heater
Ill just figure out a way to water cool it 💀

Water cooling isn't necessarily a good option, especially that it's water, and needs more continuous power to circulate, a simple heat sink and well positioned cooling fans will be more than enough
But if you're living on water, then yes do that, you can simply cover the main rig in copper and just put it in and it'll be better than any cooling system, because it'll cool without spending a penny, unless if you considered 1 time copper cover and piping purchase is too expensive
looks like the minis have no gpu only integrated graphics
so ill take the sffs
If ur able to install windows them u can prob run minecraft and fortnite with enough cooling and maybe a external gpu u should be good to go

I overclocked it to 2.5 hertz and i had to re install pi os
And then i tried 2.4 and re install again
2.3 worked
Then it didnt

what do you need help with? can it not overclock high enough? check your power supply first
Degrade the overclock and reinstall the OS
If it didn't work check if anything is actually working or no
I mean if he's only having issues whilst ovenclocking it's probs his powersupply or its getting too hot, it looks like he's got a pretty fan and heatsink so it's probs the power supply

Old games can run in 4 digits fps sometimes, especially in unconfigured emulators

my pi still can't overclock over 2 GHz now

It still can't get past 2
basically the only thing you can do is either get more cooling or a better quality power supply
try switching the socket the plug is in idk

but if it has too many volts and less amps or vice versa then your gonna struggle
I even made my own software to actively control the fans based on the load and cpu temps
