I wouldn't recommend a Raspberry at all, a used or cheap Laptop is more suitable

If you're looking for a cheap plant and throw thing, get 3, a good 4 if you're looking to have a pocket pi that automatically connects to your phone for wireless controlling, a good thing ngl. And I also recommend FiSSH (get it via F-Droid), it's absolutely great.
