audio hat & display on gpio simultaneously

Trying to connect an audio hat & lcd touchdisplay to gpio pins and i'm getting issues.

- The audio hat: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/WM8960_Audio_HAT
When i connect one or the other they work fine, however when both drivers are installed, and both devices are connected i get no display. I still get display throught microhdmi port just not to the display powered off the gpio pins. The audio hat connects to the pins on pi, and the display sits on pins that are on top of the audio hat.
Looking like i might have to get a different display, but maybe not if you guys can help.

A, B, C is the display
D, E, F is the audio
And I have marked the conflicts in red
And that display HAT is kind of using all resources. Advice: Buy a USB Audio dongle
Might look at alternative displays powered by the microhdmi
Well the Display HAT should have a warning, CAN'T BE USED WITH OTHER HATs
Getting them both to work indiviudally was a task
for myself anyway

something like this would work but it's a bit large for what i'm wanting

It uses a USB for the touch and HDMI for the display.
But a bit pricy

Ahh the WAF issue. WAF = Wife Acceptance Factor
not seeing much under 5" through the hdmi tho
what exactly is the purpose of the pins on the audio hat if you can't use it with other hats
doesn't seem logical to even add them
