solid green and red light pi 4 4Gb not posting

Got some raspberry pi 4’s to start a pi cluster but I am getting no desktop environment or the pi booting any ideas on how to fix it?

the default hdmi strength in config.txt is 4
change to 6
my display started flashing today for some reason and I'm about to try and see if that fixes it

edit the config.txt
change the hdmi boost from 4 to 6
I think basically the signal is too weak for certain monitors
I'm running a 144hz 1440p monitor ( in 1080p )
you could try a regular TV to troubleshoot this theory

I have 1080p 144hertz monitor but I’ll try this when I get home thank you I’ll let you know
If it works
my monitor would still flicker after adjusting that. My guess is the power source for myself. I'm not using a raspi approved power supply.
going to try to change mine to 144hz
you may also try changing the desktop background ? seemed to help me

Yup Cana kit is where I got my new one
But now I’m out $130 could have been worse

but yo i was using a type c to c android charger thinking it would power this thing better than the usb to c one they sell from the official rasberry company
and it was causing the issues with my display
i tried all the chargers
you need a 3 amp 5v
or the hardware gives issues
needs to be usb to c
not c to c
go straight to the wall too, dont go into a multi outlet strip or extension cord
was my entire issue lol
I got mine of Amazon through canakits store
Came with everything I needed
nice, should've gotten the charger but meh
