this is not my area but I think you can get 2 of these types of batteries https://thepihut.com/products/1200mah-3-7v-lipo-battery and something to convert it to usb c, which also link in a second

k9t33n

and if you wanted more battery life these would also work https://thepihut.com/products/2000mah-3-7v-lipo-battery although I can't figure out the battery life right now as im a bit new to batteries and it doesn't include the units I know about, but later someone else will probably come online to figure that out for you, I'm just here for ideas ig

bigbainc

hmm, i might use one of those battteries actually

k9t33n

you can't use one, it doesn't supply enough power. you could use two of the smaller batteries if you like

k9t33n

you might have to find a regulator tho

I have one UPS board with two Batteries and 72Whr in Total

techdaniel

It’s a red board called Rpi UPS 3.0 or something

techdaniel

And you pay for the board and one 37whr battery about 40 Euros

bigbainc

are you talking about pijuice?

bigbainc

i have a pijuice board but im using the battery that's supplied

bigbainc

what batteries are you using?

techdaniel

I am using this for months and it works great

bigbainc

thank you, im going to use my existing psu with a larger battery or two

techdaniel

No Problem

wolfgrimm

something like this looks really good for running a pi on a battery. 10W/2A output on the 5V.. built in charger/BMS that'll charge, prevent overcharge/discharge.

wolfgrimm

You may want to find a way to measure voltage on the gpio pins and have the pi report the battery percentage based off of it. I'm sure there's a guide/software for that somewhere.

Just sharing info
