Hi, do you think it's a problem for the Raspberry PI 4B / (I think 4GB ram) to run 24/7? I run a python script on it that also runs 24/7, (but mainly for timers to wait, so it only really executes an active thing about every 2-3 hours (which takes about 5 minutes) and at night it just waits (again with a timer) for about 8 hours. Theoretically, the PI has to work continuously because the timer/countdown is running. I have no cooling. I have PI 4 case (plastic) and the normal/official PI power supply.

My Pi 4 8GB has been running 24/7 for months. But I have a cooling system on it. Would not recommend putting it in the plastic case without cooling. So either without a case or with cooling in the case.

But doesn't the PI clock down when the temperature gets too high? And do I need the overclocking at all if I don't need much power but just run a Python script, or does it also affect the temperature and such?

with or without overclocking

Hmm ok thats sad, I hoped I wouldn’t need one.

No ups is a power supply via batteries/rechargeable battery in case the power from the socket runs out. Yes Removing the lid would be enough.
