raspberry pi 4b not working only a red light

the light on the pi will only stay red i have tried multiple different boot options on both usb and SD including pinn but I cant get any response from my pi including no video output tried many different things in the troubleshooting forum and i either have not been able to do them due to lack of bieng able to use the pi or they have not worked I cant get any screen at all no action light blinks even after multiple hours tried giving extra power from my build hat power supply and the pi power cable at the same time nothing multiple different bootloaders no different results called the pi shop in Cambridge they said its dead but i think there is a possible solution somewhere that someone has and I don't know how to reset the EEPROM through the gpio pins cos I don't know how to connect the pins to my computer {I use a laptop} I don't know how to solder nor do I have a soldering kit I don't have a touch screen or anything to connect to the display port {not the HDMI ports the port on top of the pi } it broke when I was assembling my freenove 4wd smart car kit it just turned off while I was plugging something in {not into the pi its self but a part of the car} and that's when it broke it had also rebooted when I accidentally dropped a screw on it lightly I also cant get to the files of the pi by plugging the pi into the computer its not lack of power I think its an EEPROM corruption possibly shorted I think there was a small spark when I dropped the screw I think pins ether 2 and 4 or 4 and 6 touched pins 4 and 6 touched and it corrupted a lot of things when i was screwing the thing in the previous times like with the screw the pi had force rebooted and with the screw i think that time it wasn't the pins that force rebooted it i think the screw had bridged a gap and discharged multiple capacitors also I think I have managed to get a couple flashes from the action light by using the usb or SD boot thing in the imager but I haven't had any luck from the OS yet

please give reasons why this might be happening and or how i can fix this

the computer i am trying to fix this with has been used to the point where i tried to open file explorer and literally my desktop froze like a computer would with a game explorer.exe almost stoped working

yup this is deffo dead

the gpio is directly connected to the main chip on the pi so a short circuit like that can easily kill the pi
