I can't get my pi to output audio, and there's weird errors, I'm not good with these kind of things
what errors? wich pi? and are you using the 3.5mm audio jack or audio via hdmi?

You only do this via the raspi-config if an audio connection is already installed on the board. But you have to go via the pins.
