Hey guys, I bought a raspberry pi 4 2gb modell and a waveshare 3,5 inch display connecting only on the gpio pins. When I follow the instuctions from any website I just can't get IT to work. After IT reboots there are only a black screen amd nothing happens. I tried 10 different sites instuctions bot nothing is working. Can anyone please help?

Please post a URL to the instructions and what OS have you installed

https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/3.5inch_RPi_LCD_(A) here are the instuctions (I have the exact same display, I tried normal raspbian (32&64bit) and tried legacy with 32 & 64 bit. Nothing worked

The latest Raspberry Pi OS is defaulting to Wayland and the instruction is for X.11. Either use the previous OS or change from Wayland to X.11 or search for a Waveshare instruction for Wayland

How do I change from wayland to x11? Im searching right now but I don't find anything.
