Running sudo apt install neofetch returns not found and failed to fetch errors. I suppose it may be because of the strict proxy that this school has on the network. Oddly, same thing happens when connected to mobile hotspot

Check the logs in /var/log/apt perhaps you can find a answer there.
And if you say "return a error" please supply the complete error.

Sorry about that. Was a bit pressed for time and am no longer on campus. The error was literally something along the lines of, āNot found: neofetchā. Also, other packages returned the same errors

Should have mentioned that I tried this earlier. Issue was not resolved, although the command seemed to execute succesfully

Okay like the source error said try ping google.com or ping 8.8.8.8

It definitely has access to the internet and google. As mentioned earlier, I was able to sign into Discord from the machine and make this post
