Large self-playing pinball machine

Hello, I'm working on a pinball machine project in which the pinball is a small-sized soccer ball. My friends decided they wanted more points for risk (this is for a "competition"), and they decided a self-playing pinball machine would be cool.

I have access to 2 Raspberry Pi 3s, 1 Raspberry Pi 4, wood tools/saws, and other sensors and electronics.
I would appreciate any suggestions with the coding or with the wires. I don't have any progress so far with the code or wiring except for making the frame of the pinball machine. I have also worked on an Arduino controller.
ok well you need to make a lot of decisons with your group that i cant make for you
stuff like: what are you going to use to detect the pin ball? where are you gonna put the things that hit it? where are you gonna put the pin ball detector? and so on
i can help though with the code and wiring, but i will not do it all for you, just help

We've spent around 35 cad on solenoids/motors

i mean you can try find a 12v battery that lasts a decent size
