Wireless connection with Putty

So there is this issue. After wrapping in a SSH file with WiFi details into the mini-SD containing the raspberry OS and establishing IP/Mac addresses with Nmap, the procedure of logging in with PuTTY comes up with "wrong password/name" even though I've entered the apparently correct login credentials. Anyone who could help me?

Please add info about Pi Model, OS type, did you use Raspberry Pi Imager to create the SD card.

Then I wonder, why add a ssh file and Wi-Fi? Those details you add when creating the SSD card with Raspberry Pi Imager.

oops.se

And the key combo "Shift + Ctrl + X" opens the menu for user/Wi-Fi/SSH .

oops.se

And there is no need for nmap as the Pi OS has mDNS support, so just ssh to ssh <user>@<hostname> where <user> and <hostname> is the one you added into the menu when creating the SD card

Pardon, by SSH I've refereed to wpa_supplicant.conf. Just blindly followed the instructions to intertwine a connection via webmin.

oops.se

You don't need to handle files (ssh & wpa_supplicant.conf) as the Raspberry Pi Imager fix that for you in a file called "firstrun.sh".

oops.se

And the future Debian Bookworm (12) don't uses wpa_supplicant, current only suggested for Raspberry Pi 5

Should I erase those files in that case? Also no response after taping shift + ctrl + x.

By pressing the keys simultaneous open this menu, see picture

So reimage the SD card and follow the process the whole way. And I assume that you have downloaded "Raspberry Pi Imager" in the last month.
