Help with Apache2

This is being done on an RPi using Ubuntu Server. I've followed all of the steps to make a simple index.html, however when I try to open it, I get the message that the file might have been moved or deleted. I literally clicked on it in that directory, so I don't understand. I created the html page, I created a new conf file based on the default conf, and I've activated/enabled it. Is there something I'm missing?
