im having problem with my sim800L evb and my raspberry pi 4 B idk how to fix it, the led indicator tells that the gsm is receiving a network data but when i run it on minicom AT command i cant type, i am using vnc desktop
Have you swapped Tx and Rx ?
and what terminal prog are you using? I see minicom. So is the baudrate correct ?
havent tried swapping it yes 9600 baud
is itthe same as rpi 4 B
Yes, the 40 pin header is the same (The first Pi model has a 26 pin, but thats ancient)
do i need to turn on Bluetooth?

I dont know picocom, but minicom works as well as other terminal programs

- live feed camera to my public domain website https (its okay if it works locally)(i want the camera to be plug and play when i turn on pi it will turn on the camera but it will not affect other programs)
- website notification (I'll be using firebase if ever)
i will integrate all of them into a product

i just want to know the connection of sim800L evb (5v) to the raspberry pi 4 B since the gpio have (3.3V) only and the pin of sim800L is (5v) so im needing bi directional logic level shifter, i just want to make the sms function to work
I know that, but you need to tell me what you bought (Datasheet, URL or picture). If you just say the bluone I can guess what it is.... But then is the chances that I give you the wrong instructions quite high.

HV - 5v (From SIM 800)
LV1 - Raspberry Pi Tx
LV2 - Raspberry Pi Rx
HV1 - SIM 800 Rx
HV2 - SIM 800 Tx
GND - SIM 800 GND
GND - Raspberry Pi GND

no matter what the sim800L evb module does not work on my raspberry pi 4 B, i did voltage reading and the voltage is right
