Good day, folks! Quite new to the raspberry community, so as expected - I got some problems with set-up-ing my pi0 2w. 1) I ran Raspberry Pi OS on it, and it worked perfectly. (was able to ssh to it via puty) 2) Then, I tried to install kali on it : - It booted. - However, did not appear on my wireless-clients' list. 3) Decided, to add a blank ssh file to the BOOT: - It booted. - and, again, it did not appear on my clients' list. In advance, Thanks for any help or advice given from you.

do you have a display?

perfumecola11

no, it is a headless setup.

k9t33n

even with headless you can still use a display to see the terminal

k9t33n

headless just means no gui

perfumecola11

That's interesting, thanks. Will surf some stuff online, but for now do i really need it for resolving my issue?

k9t33n

itd make stuff a lot easier but you might not no

perfumecola11

I see, sir. Since it is optional, do you have any ideas what could help me now? thanks for your time.

k9t33n

did you use the imager to flash it?

perfumecola11

I did.

perfumecola11

Plus my settings have the ssh enabled, with some information of LAN to connect to.

k9t33n

ok there it gives you an option to enable ssh. did you?

perfumecola11

I did.

k9t33n

beat me to it

k9t33n

ok check your network to see if its connected

perfumecola11

It is not.

perfumecola11

What could cause it?

perfumecola11

Since with another OS it worked perfectly fine.

k9t33n

either its just simply struggling to connect to your network or its not booting properly

k9t33n

both of which i severely suggest you to get a display, even just a tv because its only temporary

I see, thanks. Will need to buy some equipment then. Thank you so much, for your advice.
