Raspberry Pi OS Display not rendering

Installed the Raspberry Pi OS using the official imager. However when connected using RealVNC viewer, the only the mouse pointer is seen on a grey screen. The desktop doesn’t render. Could anyone recommend solutions?

Ok, I just updated throughout the SSH and it now works fine 😊

If your using the latest Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm) check if your VNC client is compatible as they have made some updates to the VNC server in Bookworm.
