i have debian os not raspberry os
you know how raspberry os looks like this

Because raspbian is very similar to debian apart from looks so I think it's something where it just isn't using the CSS used for raspberry pi os desktop or something similar

I suggest you do copy the files to your pc that you want to keep then reflash the sd card and paste them back in
