I Turned off the raspberry pi by unplugging the cable( i didnt know that i have to turn it off first) and i ended up with a fried sd card and the wifi got super slow it was downloading at 1,2ish MB/s now its 80Kb/s at best. Any Ideas on how to fix this and thank you!

k9t33n

im assuming this is after reflashing

k9t33n

on the same sd card?

axsiros

Yes I changed the ad card because the other is fried

k9t33n

it may just be bad write speeds

k9t33n

that other sd card should not be fried it just needs a reformat

axsiros

I tried to put it on my PC but I couldn't see it even in raspberry pi imager

k9t33n

plug it into your computer and in the imagers "select os" section click erase

k9t33n

hmm? strange. its unusual a sd card would just fry from turning it off when you shouldnt

k9t33n

try testing the write speeds on this sd card. also what pi is it?

axsiros

It's the raspberry pi 0 W also i can't test the write speed on the ad card because my PC can't detect it

k9t33n

yes i know i mean this current one

k9t33n

run sudo apt install sysbench if you want to do so

k9t33n

then
sysbench fileio prepare --file-total-size=1G && sysbench fileio run --file-total-size=1G --file-test-mode=rndrw --time=300 --threads=4

axsiros

Ok I will try that and I will report the results

k9t33n

okay

axsiros

it have been stuck like this for a while

k9t33n

should go for 300 seconds

axsiros

ok

k9t33n

which is 5 minutes

k9t33n

shouldnt be that slow

k9t33n

pi zero did you say?

axsiros

its a class 10 sd card tho it shouldnt be slow

axsiros

k9t33n

try restarting your router

k9t33n

to clear its cache

axsiros
