chromium not working

When i tried to started up my chromium browser recently, it wouldn’t open. I have rebooting and reinstalling it but it still won’t open. Please somebody help me because this is very frustrating.
And if you start it from the cli, what error do you get then?
I don’t know how to open from the cli but I’m happy to learn

So if I were to guess the command is ./Downloads/chromium

An error pops up saying that my profile is in use by another chromium process on another computer and that chromium has locked my profile so it doesn’t get corrupted. It tells me that I can unlock the profile and relaunch it if I’m sure no other processes are using this profile but I don’t know how to do that

Because it's not really the best on pis anyway

Try puffin which I would install with pi-apps
Search pi apps up and install it
Maybe I should give it a better try
