Building a NAS with a Pi 5

hi, i'm trying to build a NAS with a pi 5 following the official tutorial on raspberrypi.com and I seem to be stuck on this step since the steps are a little vague

the drive is 2TB, why is it only showing 300GB?
First use sudo raspi-config then advanced and expand filesystem
It might be in performance actually I forgot
what do i do here?
i expanded file system, now what?
