What RDP/VNC setup renders 3D printing slicers better? Desktop environments, X11 or Wayland?

I want to use RDP to load slicers on a pi so that I can modify the settings from an iPad/Phone.

The latest version of PrusaSlicer required OpenGL 3.2. Anyone know how to install it? It looks like Mesa is latest and it only supports 3.1 still? (Pi 5) Searches haven't helped much so far.
