How to connect these connectors to my RPI 2 grip header

Hey guys! I’m trying to connect my LED strip to my rpi 2 but even after applying gentle pressure it won’t go in. Help is appreciated.

If you are trying to connect them to your gpio, you may likely need an adapter as the sides of the plug would interfere with adjacent pins
