Need help at using Pi Hole

Hello,
Iam a complete newbie but decided to use Pi Hole on my clients. Currently it works on my Raspberry Pi 5 just fine, but I cant activate it on my Windows Laptop. Could you help me? I would like it, if we could do a small live chat through discord.
set your DNS to the pi's IP
or
Change it on the router
I did and now my laptop is added and seen on the piHoles Client list. But there isnt anything blocked. Like when I enter the websites, I additionally blocked, they, unfortunately, show up.
I already tested disabling dhcp and enabling ddhcp from pi hole didnt work out for me
Well to get it working you have options regarding DHCP/DNS
dont you think its because of the ipv6?
IPv6 is preferred in some OS over IPv4, so that could be highly probable.
