pi5 watercooling pc aio

Guys i think i didnt think how big the pump is and how small pi is, any ideas how to make it work??:DDDDD
Cpu is lower than connectors cant possibly touch waterblock to cpu
Capton tape on parts around and find thickest thermal pad i can find?

I paid 40€ for mine
40 for a water cooling system, well then...
But it's not intended for Pi, have fun trying to get it on the Pi.

Yeah maybe thermal pads are the best option
If the problem is just that the cpu is too low you can simply use thermal pads if the problem is that the aio block is so large that it hits the usb and Ethernet ports then idk
and only if i stack like 5 of them that will reduce cooling by alot
it hits everything

And just maybe there’s another option
Maybe buying just the block of the cooling system, removing the plastic part, sanding down the copper and then putting the aio on top
heat spreader delid and fabricate taller one to touch just the cpu
the block itself costs as much as the aio and more

also only need to cool the cpu
On Amazon.com is a bit more expensive
But on aliexpress you get them at 19.99
on aliexpress they sell waterblocks for motherboard chipsets
or just universal size ones
for like 2 euro xd

I mean using the pi water block as an adapter

If you don't get correct materials you can accelerate oxidation meaning parts will corrode rly fast

It's just not worth it to get an aio for this
Idk if older aio have smaller waterblock tho

What if you put a aluminium piece on top of the pi
And then thermal pads
On top of the piece
And then a aio
Would it work
Or GALVANICED SQUARE STEEL
I got an idea
Aio waterblock modding
Bottom copper piece can be removed and you can make your own with a center piece sticking out more to touch only the cpu
But needs tools
It wont work
You reduce cooling efficiency by like 50% or more
Good as an idea tho
As long as the 50% that stays is enough…

I got some small tower style cooler

Nah for my project would not work
You can try it if you find a copper block will be better even
Or trying to get something that works more directly
Without having to spend 23€ on a water block that I have to disassemble and sand down
