DAC pro, high pitched

Hello, I am looking for help with this DAC I've been attempting to use. https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/dac-pro/ Currently my only issue is that it is playing everything at a very high pitched, it seems like a sampling issue but even after changing all manner of pipewire settings, related to locking down to 48000hz, it still persists, I've also tried allowing all hz with the same results. I am currently testing the sound with the aplay command. Looking for any tips, and I can go into more detail if needed. Thank you.

- What have you done as this far? - Have you followed the install instruction? - OS version? - Is it updated? And to just tell a general story doesn't encourage people to assist you.

<@796000224690307072>, latest version of RPI lite 64bit, fully updated I have tried forcing sampling rates from 48k to 192k which is the max output of the DAC, every rate is high pitched. I followed the instructions I could find, and successfully see the adapter and can reference it as a sound device correctly. I've also tried using pipewire instead of just pulse audio, I've modified various configuration options related to Hz on both pipewire and pulse audio

Anyways, besides that innocuous statement, the issue was with the board. Another of the same board did not have the issue.
