The whole boot process is displayed correctly but the screen goes blank just after, no blinking line, keyboard input still works. The RCA display im connected to is a chinese radio with a display, i have the radio hotwired to only display reversing camera video input that the rpi is connected to. I have tried running both standard raspberry pi os and raspberry pi os lite which i am running currently. Only changes to the config file are:
ovrscan_left=30
overscan_right=30
overscan_top=30
overscan_bottom=30

hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1

sdtv_mode=0

Think of it this way. The display process is divided in two phases. 1. Boot phase, shows text. 2. Graphical phase. Depending on which OS you have it is configured in different places. Search this forum and you will find a similar question with an answer: Search for "composite video".

You are writing in general terms so I can't assist you...

I will give more specifics when i get back home from work

We need your actual os and what exactly it looks like when you boot

k9t33n

Along with how the green and red LEDs react when you plug it in

k9t33n

For instance the red led should be solid red no flickering and the green should be solid or have some random flickering

k9t33n

If the green is repeating a pattern check it for this code:
3 flashes - start.elf not found

4 flashes - start.elf found but not launchable (corrupt)

7 flashes - kernel.img not found

8 flashes - SDRAM not recognized. You need newer bootcode.bin/start.elf firmware, or your SDRAM is damaged.

Please read the question and title. The Pi boots but the OP uses the composite video output!
