Batocera on NVME / Not loading any games

I have the following problem: I flashed a Batocera image onto an NVME SATA drive using a USB enclosure. When I connect the drive with the USB enclosure to the Raspberry Pi 5, everything works fine. However, when I remove the NVME and install it directly into the Raspberry, the Raspberry boots into Batocera just fine, but when I start a game, the screen goes black and nothing happens. The same thing happens when I press F1 to access the file manager. When the NVME is connected via USB, everything works, but when I install it directly into the case (ARGON 40 NEO 5 NVME PCIE Case), it boots, but I can't start any games. The artwork is visible. At first, I thought that maybe it can't mount the second partition with the ROMs, but then the artwork wouldn’t be visible either, right? Unfortunately, I'm a total Linux newbie, so I have no idea. But what could be the cause of this?

Argon has a list of compatible nvme. Is your nvme listed there? If not, it will be incompatible! https://argon40.com/products/argon-neo-5-m-2-nvme-for-raspberry-pi-5
